Images are a core part of experiencing The Seattle Times on the web. From image sizes to image usage, we have defined a set of patterns that help us communicate visually.
Image Sizes
Via the photo pipeline on the web, we generate a set of image sizes that are stored in Amazon S3. The list below specifies the size name, its dimensions, and if it is cropped and how.
NOTE: Unless otherwise mentioned, an image that is cropped is weighted in the center of the image.
